Missions Conference Guest Missionaries

John Hamilton
Pastor John Hamilton became a pastor at the age of 19. Under the Lordís leadership, he has started and established two Baptist churches, Gospel Light Baptist Church in Charleston, SC and New Life Baptist Church where he presently is the pastor in Columbia, SC. He also conducts mission and soul winning conferences, revivals, and ministry conferences as doors are opened. In 2013, the Lord led him into a ministry called US Church Planting where he serves young pastors who feel led of to start churches. He also serves as the Stewardship Director for David Wood Ministries. John and his wife Pam have two children and two grandchildren.

Michael & Barbara Hinson
Michael and Barbara both grew up in Christian homes and were called to missions as young people. While serving an internship at their sending church, they were able to take a trip to Georgia in 2012. The Lord blessed them to learn much about the people and get an understanding of the churches which currently exist. They are currently on deputation, seeking partners in prayer and support to bring the Gospel to the Country of Georgia. Michael and Barbara have one son, Jude, who is 1 year old.

Marie Lea-Wilson
Marie grew up in a godly Christian home, was saved and baptized by the age of 6, and felt called to missions shortly thereafter. She graduated with a 3-year Bible degree from Bible college, and entered nursing school with missions as her goal. After learning Spanish and sign language, God connected the two for her while on a missions trip to Panama. God called her to go as a missionary to the Deaf in Latin America. She will be joining a church-planting team in El Progreso, Honduras, which has no current means of reaching the Deaf.

Rose Pyles
In 1984, Mrs. Rose Pyles and her husband, Dennis, left for the mission field to go to the Philippines where they ministered together for more than 20 years. Souls were saved, churches were planted, nationals were trained for discipleship and church planting, and the deaf ministry was born. Dennis gave his life seeking to save young people that were involved in their ministry, and Rose continued on in the ministry, being fully persuaded that God would have her stay to finish the work that God had begun through her. Rose now ministers in a national school for the deaf and assists the pastors and Bible teachers in the Philippines with the ministry to the ladies and children. We are honored to have this woman of God be a part of our conference as she sows the seed of God's word in the Philippines. She is joined this week by her granddaughter, Vanessa.

Addie Rapier
Addie was led to the Lord by her mother when she was four years old. In 1st grade, she was moved with compassion when she saw a picture of a little boy in India worshipping an idol he had made out of mud. Ever since then she has known that God wanted her to serve Him as a missionary to India. In 2009, she graduated from West Coast Baptist College with a degree in Secondary Education and a minor in Missions. She had the opportunity to take a survey trip to India and is looking forward to returning to India to serve the Lord with the missionaries there.
